31st Festival Radovljica 2013
Music from Ancient Greece to the 21st century.
The 31th Radovljica Festival 2013 presents ten concerts in the Radovljica Manor and the Church of the Annunciation in Velesovo. The programme features 36 singers and instrumentalists from Australa, Brazil, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Japan, the USA in Slovenia. Their repertoire spans more than 2500 years of music, from reconstructions of Ancient Greek music from the 6th century BC to first performances of new works. Two concerts celebrate this year's anniversaries of Carlo Gesualdo and John Dowland.
For the fourth year in a row, the festival includes a workshop for singers, this year with the renowned British soprano Emma Kirkby.
