This year, the Radovljica Festival celebrates its 30th anniversary. The programme includes ten international concerts in Radovljica and Velesovo between 4 and 19 August 2012 as well as whole-day workshops for singers and pianists. The programme spans 1000 years of musical history and ranges from medieval and traditional chant, troubadour songs, medieval and renaissance polyphony, baroque vocal and instrumental music, classic sonatas for keyboard and violin, romantic Lieder, to 20th-century music and modern improvisation. Renowned guests include the British vocal quartet Orlando Ensemble, Slovenian clarinettist Mate Bekavac, organist Edoardo Bellotti, master improviser Rudolf Lutz, versatile tenor John Potter and jazz saxophonist John Surman.

After the success of vocal courses in the past two years, this year's festival includes whole-day workshops with tenor Stephan van Dyck and pianist Edoardo Torbianelli.
