On Wednesday, 18 August from 10 am to 6 pm, John Potter will lead a workshop for singers and vocal ensembles with an introductory lecture on Singing Early Music in the 21st Century.

Published in London 400 years ago, Robert Dowland`s A Musicall Banquet is a unique anthology of lute songs from England, France, Italy and Spain, including the famous Amarilli by Giulio Caccini. John Potter has been a member of groups as diverse as the Swingle Singers, Electric Phoenix, the Hilliard Ensemble and Red Byrd. He has recorded more than a hundred CDs ranging from Leonin to Led Zeppelin and has published several important books and articles on singing.
