Last year, actor and singer Pino De Vittorio fascinated the
audience as a performer of traditional music from Southern Italy. This year he returns to the festival with an entertaining programme of baroque cantatas which are partly written in Neapolitan dialect and are ideally suited to his acting talents. He will be joined by the concert master and the harpsichordist of the Cappella della Pieta de` Turchini, the ensemble with which he has been closely associated for the last twenty years.
