This course is intended for young organists and harpsichordists with an interest in German baroque music and historical keyboard instruments such as the organ, harpsichord and clavichord. It will take place in the parish church at Velesovo (Adergas) with its organ in German baroque style built by Tomaž Močnik and in the former monastery adjoining the church. The course is organised by the Harmonia Antiqua Labacensis institute in partnership with the 36th Radovljica Festival 2018 and focuses on music by Johann Sebastian Bach and his first published collection of organ music Clavier-Übung III.

The programme includes at least three individual lessons on the organ, harpsichord and clavichord, two concerts of the 36th Radovljica Festival 2018 (on 11 and 13 August), lectures (Bach’s Clavier-Übung I and III, Indications for Tempo Modification in Bach’s Music) and a short organ trip to Bled and Radovljica. Affordable accommodation is available at the parish facilities in the former monastery. The number of participants is limited.
The course fee of 135 € must be paid at the beginning of the course and does not include lodging and meals (an additional 45 € for the whole duration of the course).
